BC Denver Training

Coach Jerel is BC Denver's director of player development and is the lead trainer for the entire program.  Athletes who are on a BC Denver roster have access to train with Coach J both individually and in small groups as much as they desire. 

Jerel trains basketball players of all ages and abilities to maximize their individual skill development. All private training sessions are individualized to meet the needs and current skill set of each athlete.

Jerel enters his 7th season as a member of the BC Denver coaching staff and is considered a top player development specialist in the Denver metro area. 

Originally from Tallahassee, Jerel attended Florida State University High School where he earned Florida 3A Player of the Year honors as a senior. He continued his career at Coppin State University in Baltimore, MD becoming one of the most highly decorated incoming freshmen in school history. 

In 1997, #15 seed Coppin State shocked the basketball world by becoming the first MEAC school to win a first-round NCAA Tournament game by defeating #2 seed, South Carolina. While playing at CSU, Jerel earned MEAC All-Conference honors and a degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation, Seamon pursued a professional playing career and spent time with semi-pro teams in Florida, North Carolina, and Maryland.
